Meet Our Dental Team

Jess – Dental Assistant

I was born and raised in Iowa, and moved to Idaho in 1999 to play volleyball for NIC. The area is so beautiful I never left! I still enjoy playing volleyball and softball for recreation, and also love to spend time at the gym. In our practice, I am a Certified E4D Tech, which means I design our same-day crowns. Restoring a smile in just a few short hours is a service I take great pride in. As well as creating crowns, I also provide chairside assistance and performs dental procedures. I am there for the patient, telling them what the doctor is doing and checking to make sure they are comfortable throughout the process.

Kathy – Dental Assistant

By far and away, our patients are the best part of my job. It is so nice to be close to people and learn about them. They inspire me, every day, and to help them with their dental needs is incredibly rewarding. Even better, I work in a practice where the focus is always on providing the most ethical, gentle, and effective dental care for our patients. They are our highest priority. I spend most of my work day assisting Doctors in all facets of dental care, making sure they have everything they needs during a procedure, and providing support to our patient, whether they need a bit of reassurance and encouragement or want to be distracted. I also help our hygienists as much as I can. I love animals and grew up on a cattle ranch in Idaho. I love horses, I have an Appaloosa mare. I also have a blue heeler, blue tick hound and two cats. Gardening and working out at Pure Barre is what I like to do in my spare time.

Nicole – Dental Hygienist

I am a dental hygienist and graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2008 with my Bachelor of Science degree. I began my dental career in 2000 as a certified dental assistant. What can I say, I’m a dental “nerd” and I love everything that has to do with teeth! I have been working in this office since 2008, and by far the patients are the best part of my day. I pride myself on my love for current research, new techniques and individualizing your care. One procedure does not fit all in dentistry. I do my best to make sure you feel comfortable, reduce your stress and feel like you are a part of our dental family. We wouldn’t be here without you! Perry is my wonderful husband, and we were blessed with one awesome daughter named Ava. We also have two Pugs and a Siamese we love to spoil. When I’m not at work you’ll find me volunteering at Ava’s school, reading or cheering on the Seahawks. As a family you’ll find us on the ski mountain, watching Ava’s hip hop dancing, cross country race or at the lake.

Sara – Dental Hygienist

I am a Post Falls native and happy to be back home after living ten years in the Seattle area. I have been in the dental industry since 2006—working as a dental assistant for four years while doing pre-requisites for dental hygiene. My dental hygiene career began in 2010 at Lake Washington Tech, graduating in 2012 with an Associate of Applied Science Dental Hygiene degree as well as receiving my Bachelor of Science Dental Hygiene degree in 2014 from Eastern Washington University. The oral-systemic link and how it relates to overall health is my passion. I will encourage you and cheer you on to make positive changes in achieving optimal oral health. Sharing ideas and helping people falls directly in line with my being a Professional Educator on behalf of Waterpik and a Dental Hygiene clinical instructor. Outside of work, you will find me spending time with my greatest blessings: my husband of 17 years, our three dogs (Lilly, Pearl, Kai) and my mom. Summer is my favorite time of year with seasonal glamping, visiting farmers’ markets, kayaking, gardening and painting rocks. Winter is second-best watching Hallmark movies and cuddling with the ‘kids’ near the fireplace!
